Who doesn't love some great tasting Southern fried chicken? Luckily for the Greater New Orleans Area, a local chicken chain will be providing just that.
Southern Classic Chicken, a family founded fried chicken franchise from Louisiana, has announced that it plans on adding 10 to 12 locations in New Orleans, as well as Jefferson Parish, according to a report by QSR Magazine. The franchise already 16 locations across the state in cities and towns like Shreveport, Alexandria, Natchitoches, Monroe, Haynesville, Farmerville, Jonesboro, Mansfield, Many, Ruston, and Pineville.

Additionally, Southern Classic Chicken is planning on opening locations in Mississippi, Texas, and Arkansas in the coming years. According to Franchising.com, the first Orleans Parish location is expected to open by fall 2022.
The franchise, which has been in operation for over 35 years, is known best for its signature and mouthwatering fried chicken. Their menu has all kinds of combos to choose from, with selections of dark meat, white meat, mixed, and chicken tenders to enjoy with sides, rolls, and 20 oz drinks.
All kinds of different and traditional sides are offered, such as fries, slaw, mashed potatoes with gravy, red beans and rice, sweet corn grits, and even an apple pie. If you want a little extra kick with your chicken, there are also dipping sauces to you can get, like their classic sauce, BBQ, ranch, honey mustard, and buffalo.
